Millenials are ordering food for delivery more, but are they killing the kitchen too, not until the apartment size shrinks to 400 square feet. A tiny apartment in Montreal can be 400 square feet, but there are not many today. We still have a full kitchen in most of the apartments. In June, investment bank UBS published an 82-page report titled “Is the kitchen dead?” where UBS argued that a 20 percent increase in online food ordering sales by 2030 could eliminate the need for a kitchen.
